Savings Tax Rate - Tithing or Percent-ithe
I love the round up feature, but would prefer to have the option to allocate a straight percentage of the amount being spent to a savings goal bucket.
For example, one could adapt the strategy found in “Richest Man in Babylon” and set aside 10% of everything *spent* instead of the conventional 10% of everything *earned*. The advantage of this approach is that money earned will flow through DAS’s normal budget workflow, whereas the “savings tax” applied to money spent would serve as a check on wanton spending.
I am imagining that this option would not supersede the round up feature, but be an additional option in the same screen.
